A “Super Mushroom” Found in the Forest of Nibutani

When I was organizing my photos, I came across this special memory from October 2022.
It was a day we visited the Biratori Municipal Nibutani Ainu Culture Museum.

After immersing ourselves in the beautiful crafts and spiritual culture of the Ainu people, we took a walk through the surrounding nature.
That’s when we found this little miracle at our feet.

A bright red cap with perfect white dots.
It looked exactly like the “Super Mushroom” from the games!

“Look! A Super Mushroom!” “I wonder if I’ll grow bigger if I eat it?”

The children’s excited voices echoed through the quiet woods of Nibutani.
The rich nature that the Ainu people have protected for generations is still a treasure box full of dreams and adventures for children today.
