Today, I’m reviewing a smartphone stand I bought from the 100-yen shop Can☆Do for a surprising price of just 330 yen (including tax).
Simple Yet Highly Functional Design
As the packaging says, this stand is very simple, but it’s packed with useful features.
The best part is the 360° rotating base. It’s super convenient for watching videos while cooking or changing the angle during an online meeting. You don’t have to move the whole stand—just swivel it to your desired position.
It also allows for angle adjustments. You can finely tune the angle of your device for a perfect viewing position. It’s also great that it works for both vertical and horizontal use.
I’ve used this stand not only for my smartphone but also for my tablet and my Nintendo Switch (the original model). My smartphone was stable in both portrait and landscape modes, and both my tablet and Switch were stable in landscape mode.
Lightweight and Durable! A Focus on Materials
The body of this stand is made of steel and aluminum. For a 330-yen product, it’s impressive that they managed to balance lightness and durability. The screws are made of ABS resin, and the non-slip parts are silicone rubber, showing attention to detail in its construction.
Final Thoughts
Considering the price, this product exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for anyone who needs a stand for their smartphone or tablet but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money.
It’s simple, easy to use, and highly functional. It feels like it’s worth more than 330 yen. Personally, with recent price increases, I’m a little worried if they can keep selling it at this price in the future. If you ever visit Japan, I highly recommend stopping by Can☆Do to see what other great finds you can make!
